Balancing Ambition and Inner Peace: Interview with Madelaine

[The following is a transcript of a live interview with Madelaine. In this candid conversation, Madelaine opens up about her work and her mission to help high-achieving individuals find harmony in their lives.]

Q: Hi, Madelaine. Could you start by introducing yourself to our audience?

Madelaine: Of course! I’m Madelaine, and my passion revolves around helping people find that elusive balance between ambition and inner peace.

Q: Who are the individuals you primarily work with?

Madelaine: My clientele is predominantly high-achieving men who have excelled in their careers but feel that something’s missing in their lives. They often struggle with emotional, physical, or spiritual imbalances. Some have experienced burnout, while others are at the pinnacle of success but still yearn for fulfilment.

Q: Can you describe your approach to helping these individuals?

Madelaine: I envision it as rebalancing a scale. Many of my clients have their scales tipped too far in one direction, causing disruptions in their relationships and personal lives. Some use ineffective methods to seek inner peace, which can have negative consequences. I guide them through deep self-work, addressing their darker aspects and fostering healthier ways of being.

Q: You mentioned working with women as well. Could you elaborate on that aspect of your work?

Madelaine: Certainly. Alongside my private practice, I run the Australian School of Holistic Counselling. This institution educates future holistic counsellors, coaches, meditation teachers, and mindfulness facilitators. Currently, the field predominantly comprises women. I’m deeply involved in mentoring and coaching these women, helping them build successful practices and master transformational techniques.

Q: Tell us about your role as a course creator at the college.

Madelaine: As a course creator, I design all the programs at the college. I also supervise many of the classes and ensure that our students leave with the confidence and knowledge needed to make a positive impact in the world. It’s incredibly rewarding to see them grow and thrive.

Q: What’s your overarching goal in your work?

Madelaine: My goal is simple: to help individuals lead long, fulfilling lives instead of facing premature burnout. I want to be their guide as they navigate the delicate balance between ambition and inner peace.

Q: Any parting thoughts or advice for our viewers?

Madelaine: I’d encourage everyone to reflect on their own lives. Are you chasing success at the expense of your well-being? Balance is key, and it’s never too late to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.
