ENERTREE SOUNDS™
Step Into the Forest: A Multi-Sensory Listening Experience

Imagine standing in the heart of an ancient Nordic forest.
The air is crisp, scented with pine and earth. A breeze stirs the trees—a trickling stream in the distance.
But what does the forest actually sound like?
Not the rustle of leaves or the wind between branches…
But if the forest had a voice—if it could sing—what would it say? What wisdom would it share?
These questions are at the heart of ENERTREE SOUNDS™—and the spark behind the entire project.
ENERTREE SOUNDS™ is a creative collaboration between nature and music.
Using biofeedback technology, I record the electrical signals of living trees and translate them into sound. Some of these signals become melodies. Others inspire harmonies, textures, and rhythms. I then compose, sing, and produce music that weaves the trees’ unique frequencies with human emotion.
This isn’t ambient sound, but a co-created sonic experience—part nature, part intuition, part craft.
How The Music Is Made
ENERTREE SOUNDS™ is not simply a field recording or soundscape project—it’s a true collaboration between nature and human creativity.
Each composition begins with biofeedback data recorded from living trees. Sometimes the raw signals are translated directly into musical tones or ambient textures. Other times, I listen to the energy patterns and pull melodic phrases from the trees—tones that seem to carry their presence.
From there, I shape the music: layering vocals, composing harmonies, producing arrangements. This is where my voice as a singer, producer, and songwriter comes in.
The forest offers the spark. I bring the structure. The result is sonic medicine—a living, breathing, emotional experience.
Why This Matters

We live surrounded by noise, but we’ve forgotten how to truly listen. ENERTREE SOUNDS™ invites you to tune into what’s always been present: the intelligence of nature, the energy of life, the pulse of the forest.
These sounds are more than music—they’re a rediscovery. A reminder. A reflection of something ancient and deeply familiar. When we listen, we don’t just hear the forest—we hear ourselves.
This work is about connection. Not performance. Not perfection. Just presence.
The Connection to Nordic Mindfulness™

This project lives within the philosophy of Nordic Mindfulness™, a nature-based way of being built on six core principles:
Balance. Resilience. Adaptability. Integration. Simplicity. Synergy. (B.R.A.I.S.S.)
Trees embody these effortlessly. They bend, root, adapt, and grow in harmony.
Through this work, the forest becomes both guide and collaborator. The music becomes the medium. And listening becomes the practice.

Follow the Journey
ENERTREE SOUNDS™ will continue evolving through 2024–2025 with new compositions and immersive experiences. The full release—an album and multi-sensory offering—arrives in 2026.
Until then, I’ll be in the forest—listening, composing, creating.
And when the songs are ready to be heard, you’ll know.
This is not just music.
It’s the voice of the forest, heard through human hands and heart.
Listen to the Trees: Raw Biofeedback Samples
Before a single note is composed, there is this: the pure, unfiltered signal of the tree. What you’ll hear below are raw audio recordings created through biofeedback technology. These sounds are not music in the traditional sense—they are the electrical responses of trees, translated into sound.
No two sessions are the same. Each tree emits a unique pattern of frequencies that shifts based on its environment, time of day, and internal rhythms.
These samples are not compositions. They are voices—the living presence of the trees, captured in sound.
🎧
Below are small samples—raw previews from my larger creative project where I work with trees to create full compositions. These particular clips are unedited biofeedback recordings—no added instruments or effects. Each one is a direct expression of the tree’s energy in that moment, shaped by its environment, and captured through sound.
They are the starting point of the creative journey—the first whisper before the song.
As you listen, what sensations arise? Can you feel its grounding energy?
Sources of Inspiration
While this project is grounded in deep listening and creative exploration, it is also informed by emerging research in plant neurobiology and biofeedback. For those interested, you can explore works by researchers such as Stefano Mancuso, Monica Gagliano, and Anthony Trewavas, who have explored the intelligence and responsiveness of plant life.
